Twofold blog here. Firstly, I'm participating in this year's Jinglemas story exchange, and encourage you to do so as well. It can make for a fascinating exercise with characters you don't often use.
Secondly, Ancestral Tribute judging continues apace. We should have results up before Thanksgiving. Probably much earlier than that.
Hello, everyone, parents and non-. We’ve gotten some outstanding tributes to ancestors in this contest, and while it’s a terrible thing to say you have a favorite child, someone had to win this. Let’s begin the festivities.

Good luck, everyone.

Hiya, lovely peeps!
Welcome to my new series: behind-the-page, where I can give you background information on my newest story. Make sure to read the story first to avoid spoilers and understand what we’re talking about.
Today’s story: My Dearest Twilight.
SirNotAppearingInThisFic pointed out an interesting pattern I hadn’t noticed before. For the past four years, I’ve hosted a contest in September.
No reason to stop now!
Between the Tell Your Tale schedule shift and the last issue of Little Fillies not coming out until next month, we’ve abruptly come to the end of the G5 backog. This was originally meant to go in a bridge week for the next Tell Your Tale blog, but sometimes reality doesn’t cooperate with my schedule. In any case, I like to commemorate every contest I run by making cards for each entrant, and now’s as good a time as any for my most recent one.
Don’t be fooled by the title, I’m not running anything of my own.
